i feel that human beings can sometimes be described as Cars.
When i talk about human beings, im referring to the external looks, physique

Supercars like Ferrari , Lamborghini would be those HOT looking people.
Normal commercial vehicles would be like the Average looking people.
Exotic cars attract alot of attention and many would want to own them.
and those normal sedans would be less attractive or tempting to the eyes.

and Next, the driver would be the qualities of a person.
You can be a hot-tempered person which means road rage.
You can also be a civilized driver who is gracious on the traffic.

A Ferrari enzo driver may/may not be gracious,
and a Cherry QQ driver can/cannot be hot-tempered.
By default, we judge people from their exterior.
be it the looks, brands they carry and possessions they own.
And after awhile, we tend to be so engulfed with things that are so exterior.
and preferences become judging points.
Using more analytic than sensual. (more brain than heart)
If seeing is believing, what about feelings?

as we grow older, our desires will manifest at a higher rate.
we want fame, wealth and appearance.
Thats very normal. nothing wrong about that.
To own luxury items, to be famous and to be confident.
But friends, remember not to be over-engrossed with the sidekicks.
because we are not living with the birkins, maxi or trevis..
Choosing someone for life could be the most crucial decisions ever made.
Therefore, learn to use the heart to feel a person through dialogues or hardships faced together.
and establish a human touch to everyone you meet.

rainy days.

today i spent 4 hours sitting in batok's Macdonald's.
baby steps to discipline myself for revisions.
as i was sitting there doing my mock papers, i realized many others came with their girlfriend.
i couldnt help it but started retrospecting.

going to mac and study together seem like a very simple day-to-day thing in the past.
but, to find one person who totally feels for you and able to spend quality time together now?
like sitting together, sharing iPod, bringing a cardigan out for girlfriend, buy her fries,
disturbing her, doodle on her notes, hiding her flip flops when she dont realize it.
i miss those days.

its not so much about " that particular " person, but its about having that " someone " there.
i guess im starting to get used to my Forever Alone lifestyle :)

im not the only person that is going through a emotional turmoil.
guys around me also drop tears or cry badly on their bed.
i guess these days, we became weaker and weaker.

each of us have our own ways to release our agony and pain.
by exhausting oneself, by making oneself so busy that he will not think of anything else.
by singing, relating his own story or memories through the lyrics.
by hanging out with friends, pouring his feelings and go home feeling empty again.
by making new friends, knowing that they wont replace our unhappiness.
by using rational,practical quotes, which never works on a stubborn mind.

we know whats right and wrong but we tend to fall backwards due to the emotional attachments.
i wish i can get out of this quick.

i am trying all means to get you outta my head.
i want to stay above the water.
i want to be normal once again.
i will be better than who i used to be.
i havent changed a bit.

A friend of mine shared with me why someone will react in various ways.

Being quiet and reserved.
Being less interactive towards others, bf's friends and family.
Being complying and easy going
Being a girl who cries easily

And then after, becoming someone different and still keeping some of the traits.

Still being quiet and reserved.
Still interact lesser and prefer to be passive
Knows how to say no and rejects more than accept
Cry lesser or even dont cry at all.

i guess its all because of age and experience.
confidence level and inferiority complex.
not everyone is manufactured or fabricated in the uniform way.
some people find it hard to express themselves.
while some others find it hard to keep it within themselves.
some people prefer to do something so that they wont regret
while some people will regret doing something.
if you have a choice, would you wanna express your feelings ?
some people comply because they are accommodating,
some people comply because they are afraid.
when times change,
feelings shouldnt change.
methods , ideas and approach should also join in.
there are so many reasons why you chose to behave this way.
but i know i could have done better job.

We went to visit popo over at her place yesterday.
It has been at least 5 years since popo last stepped into her old flat.
I could see that there were a lot of changes being made to her flat.
Most of the old furniture were discarded and the entire orientation have changed.

This weekend has been weird.
People around me seems to be unhappy, i dont feel happy either.

Looking back at my photos and entries,
i question myself, " how much have i changed ? "
Have i changed to the change that i am looking for ?
Seeing others around me achieving, accomplishing and establishing..

i had a great dinner at home with my family.
home-cooked food is still the best.
no point restaurants and to pay that extra gst/service charge haha.

another week of hectic army life will begin in 2hours time.
which means i will be booking-in in 2hours time.
was a very short weekend but i felt that i spent my time relatively well.
enjoy buying groceries with boh @ midnight,
supper, snacking and shopping.

Judging from the picture, you should know where have we been to on Sunday.
Our first time to Marina Barrage.
Architecture wise, kinda new to us.
Perhaps Singapore should have more of such places, and some sort of entertainment for the locals.
When u arrive at barrage, you will notice that there are so many cars but so little parking lots.
Fortunately, i didnt have to wait too long for a lot.

Once you arrive at barrage, you will notice that there are so many kites lighting up the sky.
They come in many sizes, colours and i really feel like getting a new and bigger kite !
People over here are like pros with their own kits , we felt so noob hahahahaha.

feels good to let the wind blow through your hair.

Sundays are meant to be enjoyable !
During my block leave, i hope i can do as much things as i can.
The Long awaited Passing Out Parade (POP) was great !
Its really true that once you see your parents at the grand stand,
no matter how shag you are after the 24Km route march, u will not be tired or exhausted.
It feels good seeing your parents and girlfriend watching you doing the parade.

Although my stay in Tekong was longer than anyone else ( due to PTP batch ) ,
i guess time will still pass us by no matter what.
This 4 months have been enriching and challenging for me.
Seeing changes in myself, physically and mentally.
Meeting new people and accepting differences.

On Good Friday's morning,
i was stranded in the ammo dump of Tekong doing guard duty.
how sad. luckily it was only a 12 hour shift , which means i can book out @ 845am.
Parents and lixue came to fetch me at the ferry terminal and we had breakfast at Changi Village.

Finally after months of basic military training ,
everything over here is coming to an end and i'm looking forward to a new environment.
OCS or SCS doesnt really matter anymore as long as i dont have to take mrt all the way to Pasir ris !
i really hate travelling so far and to leave home so early just to book in on time man.
looking back at these few months, i acquired skills and also made some achievements.
i lost some, i won some.

A checklist done by my mom for Alma for today.
Chinese New Year is just 1 week away from us.
Sometimes i feel like i am already an officer or lieutenant whenever Alma replies , " Yes Sir "
hahaha.
Only officers are called Sirs in Army, even Colonel ?

Swimming may be something easy for most of the people but not for me.
i'm so happy that i passed my swimming test.
i never knew i could swim 50m using Breast-stroke.
the moment i reached the other end of the pool, the triumphant feeling is overwhelming.
The taste of success is so satisfying.

On an average of 2 hours, i will be eating.
Its all about eat and shit.
And finally me and boh made it to Wendy's over at Lau Pa Sat.
We were kinda looking forward to good food but it turned out to be quite typical.
I rather go for Popeye's or Subway instead.
Even burger king's fries/onion rings taste better than Wendy's.

Mom gave me extra cash for buying new year clothes.
Went town and couldnt find anything special or to my liking,
bought stuffs for mom instead.

The Joke of the day,
We went ion to shop for my mom's stuffs as well as boh's stuff.
Walked into New Look retail, bought a top for my mom.
After the payment, the male cashier asked me,
" Would you like to have the hanger as well ? "
i hestitated for 2 secs before nodding my head.
The punch line : why the fuck would the retail give u the hanger ?!

so after that, we left the place with giggles.
i suppose the cashier hates the company thats why he's giving away hangers for free.

9th of January 2010 marks the 2nd year of my relationship with lixue.
i am very fortunate to have the opportunity to celebrate this special day with her.
i nearly got confined this weekend in tekong =/
We are currently going thru this phase of " NS " at the beginning of our 2nd year together.
There must be mutual understanding and initiative to keep our relationship strong.

I enjoyed my day with her.
Although we didnt went to very special places or done very special stuffs,
Having her by my side is already a form of happiness to me.

Before that, we had lunch together with Hong lun, Wai hong and their partners haha.

I have to juggle my life to keep in balance these days.
Army life and civilian life is totally different.
Having freedom is the best thing on Earth !
Whenever im backed home, i will really hate to go back in.
Its only till that day when u really have no choice but to leave behind everything,
you start to miss everything and everyone around you.
Everything goes back to the basics.
No matter how rich you were, popular, powerful, handsome or how great your life was,
you have to adapt to this new lifestyle.
I have bunkmates that couldnt eat or sleep well, reason being they couldn't accept the fact that
they have to go through all these.
Looking at the brighter side, i always tell myself that days in NS are going to be lesser and lesser,
and days to regaining freedom is getting nearer and nearer.
During punishments, when we are being pushed to our limits of endurance,
i often look up to the sky, seeing birdies flying around freely,
looking at the ants below my feet running around freely.
Sometimes, i really feel that they are so much happier than us.

I hope i can make full use of my time in NS and to develop myself to become a better person.

I had the opportunity to book out to celebrate holidays with boh and my family.
Considering myself lucky to have entered the DEC intake.
with quite alot of public holidays packed in these few months.

on Boxing day, we went town to meet up with my bunk mates.
They carried on with movies where me and boh went to her relative's place for dinner.
I couldn't eat most of the food cos i was having sore throat.

i finally got my alien head done @ bukit batok east.

There is actually more than 1 video.
The entire haircut process took quite awhile.
In fact, it took nearly 25 mins for the hairstylist to complete my haircut.
The first girl straightaway shaved my hair straight from the bottom and i can feel that
at least 8 strands of hair are being PLUCKED out at the same time.
that feeling is damn Shhhhhhiok until u can wulala.
Anyway, the cut cost $5 and i find it pretty cheap provided that they are not those old barbers.
cos i think those old uncles just cant be bothered if its painful or what lah.
The lady boss is much more humorous and she even asked me to tag her in facebook lols.
but im that free to upload in FB.

Today i met my mom at Plaza singapura to get my NSF phone plan done so that i can save up on handphone bills.
I felt like an Alien walking around singapore.
Many people looked at me with weird expressions.
Especially in mrt, i dont know is it because i havent shaved my beard ?
Me and boh also had dinner with Alice and Jake at Cafe cartel.
One very LUCKY incident took place.
The waiter who served us the pork ribs, actually forgotten that we actually ordered it !
the bill came without the pork ribs included.
4 of us happily left the restaurant like some kinda fugitive.

For the first time in my life,
i felt so blessed and contented, inside out.

i totally enjoyed myself last night with my girlfriend, family and a bunch of amazing friends !
Everyone is so crucial to the success or rather the quality of the celebration.
Laughter, Lame jokes and giggling filled the entire atmosphere.
Even the weather was so comfortable for us to BBQ.
Alice said that its her first time bbq-ing in sucha cooling weather.
Although this birthday party isn't very that spectacular or extravagant,
i could feel that everyone is enjoying themselves and having a good time.
I truly appreciate my friends who have made their way down here despite all the troubles of
finding their way here and taking off from their work.
i didnt expect that everyone that had came could stay till 5am ?
i guess the games were too interesting HAHAHAHA.
Hengyi and Bangye was so entertaining that my parents could even get along, pulling each other's legs.
Alvin had to go all the way to Farrer park to collect wines just for us, alone
Alice and Jake managed to drive from AMK to my place regardless of all the time/petrol wasted, finding the way
Lixue's parents was here too, her mom cooked chicken curry and also made mango pudding.
I felt so heartwarming, seeing both our moms getting busy together, chatting and gossiping about me.
Yongwen's mom had to prepare the fried glass noodles as soon as she arrive home from work,
i bet she didnt rest at all and i really felt that sincerity coming from her.
My parents and aunt was so helpful to have rushed here and there to help me with the groceries and transportation.
Yongwen, needless to say, will always be there helping without a word of complaint or but(s)
Elma was so damn busy helping out in the kitchen, cleaning and i felt happy seeing her able to join us over at the bbq.
Last but no least, Lixue, for being there for me, putting in all the effort in making this party a success.
I love the present that was single-handedly done by her.
I really love the strawberry/blueberry cheesecake.
Its my first time, eating a cake which is made just for me by my girlfriend .

The very touching and sensual part of this celebration was that,
i was able to see/feel the quality of friendship and sincerity in people.
To be honest, those friends that came over arent friends i knew for a decade or many years.
They are friends whom i knew / met from lixue and we could all get along well.
I was taken aback when they came with presents.
I've never expected my friends to get me presents( probably im used to present-less birthdays)
Even friends i knew longer or earlier than them, couldnt be bothered or even remember.
I really feel so contented having them around me to celebrate my 21st birthday.
I wanna thank them for being able to join me in the celebration, helping out in the bbq,
preparing presents and being sucha nice company around.
Quantity wasn't important to me, Quality is everything that matters.
I rather have a handful of heart2heart friends than to have a school of superficial people.
It is not about showing how ' Many ' friends you have or feeling proud that you are popular,
sometimes, the greatest things in life are things that cannot be seen but can be felt.

On our way back , after sending them home,
i told boh that this party couldnt get any better.

And all these made the 21 year old birthday boy, a happy boy.

After watching Paranormal Activity last night,
i woke up with a bad nightmare this morning.
That movie is damn boring and draggy,
i had to keep on fast forwarding to catch some glimpse of the ghostly encounters.
LUCKY i never watch it in cinema.
The entire movie is filmed by the main character using his tv-liked camcorder.

Talking about the nightmare, i felt damn fucked up.
i dont know why i just cant escape from it.
This time round, the nightmare is very realistic, as if im really living in that time frame.
Characters consist of me and boh.
We are at this old block of HDB, which has got 2 lifts.
The building looks kind of old and shabby, lift is those one side sliding type.
So boh pressed the button to get to 12th storey. nothing much here.
And when we reached the 12th storey, before the door could open ,
here comes the fucked up part ...
before the door could open, the entire lift started to free fall downwards with maximum velocity,
during that moment i think my pee jitao evaporated before flowing out,
that kind of feeling is really very very siao diao.
because mentally, u anticipate that the door will slide and open for u,
but now, the lift is rushing downwards and u know u are going to die.
So during that moment, boh was very petrified and was helpless.
i remembered that i kept shouting to her , asking her to stay calm cos i've got a plan.
My plan was that, before we hit the ground, like say before the entire lift crushes onto the ground,
together, we will jump upwards so that we are suspending in the air.
so we were both holding each other face to face locking our elbows together.
When the moment came, another fucked up feeling came.
We leaped up as high as possible to escape death.
but there wasnt any impact, we landed on the lift like idiots jumping for nth LAME *
the lift instantly came to a haul , and opened its door at the 1st storey normally.
its like asking u to take a roller-coaster at its climax and next moment u are placed on the ground watching ppl on the roller-coaster.
Its a very sian diao feeling.
So we ended up walking out of the lift, warning people not to take the lift

damn random.

Dinner with lixue's parents tonight @ 店小二
They are buying me dinner for my 21st Birthday and also farewell to NS
They have always been very nice to me and treating me like one of their children

I am left with 2 weeks to enlistment.
Time flies, finally its my turn to be botak.
unfortunately, i'm unable to celebrate my actual birthday before enlistment.
That's why i'm holding the party in advance on the 5th of December.
I hope it will be full of fun and entertainment :)

The bridegroom's Maserati wedding ride

Damn cool.

小姑's Son's Wedding dinner at Four seasons hotel.
During the morning, we headed down to their place for the tea ceremony.
The Dinner wasn't really nice and the waitress totally spoilt our appetite.
But i do like to attend wedding dinners , we get to dress up.
The dinner was so lousy till we had to head down to Chong Pang for Nasi lemak.
I do notice that the actual boss isnt there working on that night,
and the nasi lemak seems to have lost its standard.

The night before the dinner, Alice and Jake came over my place for Mahjong.
I enjoy playing mahjong with them, it seems like the tempo and tension is just nice
Maybe we should play more often !

i think the crowd made it seem like 2012 is a spectacular movie.
i was kinda disappointed with the entire movie itself.
probably rate it 3 out of 5.
The animation seems kinda fake at times and the storyline bores.
Yes, we knew that world is coming to an end but the entire movie is just
portraying the self-centred-ness and selfishness in human beings
but not trying to stop the world from ending or to find ways to prevent it.
And if the world is gonna end, why after all the disasters, the people still live on?
If its really the case, Earth should have perished.
If its only full of tsunamis, earthquakes, and many more,
why name it end of the world ?
and if the ship is so great, why cant it bring u to Mars ?

Basically, the movie is split into two parts.

1. The effects and damages done to earth during the catastrophe
2. How the rich escaped death by boarding a ship that is able to withstand the tragedy

To be very honest, i would prefer Armageddon and Transformers.
At least u feel more for Ben affleck and Bumble bee than this 2012.
The beginning part of the movie is very confusing because there are so many transitions.
Haha guys, i rather u watch Jennifer's body, 500 days of summer and maybe upcoming Avatar or Twilight saga.

Me and my family have this strong feeling that we will not be going to Thailand again,
or rather give it a miss.
The trip wasnt that bad, but the people over there treated us like retards.
They were rude, service was really bad and we even got cheated.
The Thais used to be really polite and all during my previous trip.
And it seemed like we are there to spend money and to generate income for them ?
There are just so many incidents that had occurred within that 4 days trip.
Hotel staffs could even breech into our room and attempt to steal our stuffs.
luckily i bought travel insurance, we are able to claim a new luggage. zzz
We were cheated to a seafood restaurant that was so costly that it was $200 over yet
serving crap shit to us.
The crab we order was like $60 and there wasnt any crab egg under the shell,
it was only just one normal crab, not king crab or flower or whatsoever.
The seabass we ordered was full of scales and the fish is stale really badly.
we could barely eat the flesh.
Asparagus that we ordered was like tree bark crap.
It was so coarse that we couldnt even masticate it.
and theres so much more ..............................

never ever go to this seafood restaurant my friends.
they are run by gangsters and yes, we intended to beat the shit out of the manager.
Because the moment we questioned him why no egg in our crab he straightaway gave us a black face.
Then he started to walk around the restaurant complaining to all the staffs.
he was also mumbling some vulgarities behind our back which we could hear it clearly.

he must have taken our egg to fry someone else's rice

We visited Charco today.
He seem to have more energy and strength to move around.

2012 at cine later tonight
i wanna spend most of my time now for boh.
Before movies, we will head down to visit Charco first.

For a 91 year old dog, he is very prone to be ill or to get infected with viruses.
Especially during this year, we noticed the severity of infection and illness in him.
For months, Charco's right ear has been bleeding non-stop and infected.
Mom had to clean and disinfect his ears everyday, doc's prescription.
What we have done was just to sustain but not cure or to totally win over the war.
Charco was brought to the pet hospital last night in hoping for a cure.
His right ear had 2 holes and his throat had 1 hole.
Hole was being created/eaten up by the maggots
Dr. Tan immediately did a blood test and got the results.
They said that if blood test results are positive, surgical procedures can be done asap.
But we cannot ignore the fact that there's chances of risk or mishap happening.
Initially, at home, we dealt with the maggots by cleansing and washing his ears.
Until we realized that the maggots are actually Feeding on Charco's body itself.
They are using Charco as an incubator, for them to stay and feed on.
Dr. Tan told us that the cause for these infection was that ,
the houseflies laid eggs in Charco's ears and also on his skin.
The babies (maggots) hatched out, and started to manifest in Charco's body.
The sms that came from Dr. Tan last night was that,
she was able to get rid of 500 over maggots in Charco's body.
500 is definitely a shocking figure.
We know that its wasnt our fault or our negligence to have caused this trauma but
we really felt so bad for Charco.
He has always been very loving, compromising and dear to us.
That is why, we are always trying our best to cure him and to prolong his life.

Charco was never a pet nor a dog to us.
Mom brokedown as she was cleaning his ears.
She weep very badly and i was next to her crying as well.
Even lixue, couldnt hold her tears to herself.
Within this past 4 days, she was taking care of Charco.
Ensuring that he is not hungry and make sure that he eats well.
She could feel that Charco loves company and he is a very caring doggy.
He would do tiny gestures, esp to my mom, whenever she's around him
to show that he is so happy to see her and will wag his tail so happily.

Do you how it feels like to see him wag his tail ?
at this point of time, while enduring the pain inside his body
he could still express his joy of seeing us and appreciation of providing him with his favourite food
i sincerely hope that our dearest buddy here, can be brought out from the hell soon.
it has been quite a long time since he could be healthy.
and i truly swear that i will never keep any pets anymore.
its inevitable to face death and to part with our loved ones.
but if you were to give me a choice,
i will really choose not to keep pets anymore.
because as time pass, feelings will be developed.

Its has been a tough time taking care of Charco and to overcome those fears in you

Yesterday was the last day of my work as a tutor.
i felt that i should rest a little or rather look for a new job.
Traveling to Tiong bahru every odd days in a week for 4 months consecutively became too mundane to me.
Thankfully, i received the final payment =)

As for now, i'm totally free till i get enlisted.
On last saturday morning, boh and i went for picnic.
It was our first time going on a picnic trip.
We went shopping for groceries and bought the necessities.
We even bought the kite, hoping to fly it while picnic-ing.
As foreseeable, the weather wasnt good at all, when we woke up.
It was raining, ground was damp and i knew the grass will be damn wet when we get there.
Its like if i dont go for picnic, the sun will be so scorching damn badly.
Not to make things worse, i just didnt bothered about the drizzling and started to prepare our food.
Done with the pasta, sauce, and finally checklisting all our items.
When we finally reached the park, i realized that there were many people out there,
holding events, jogging, cycling and weather was cooling.
The rain in the morning wasnt that bad afterall !
Least we felt cooling in the morning, rather than picnic + suntanning.
We caught many passerbys' attention and there was one couple, who stopped strolling just to secretly take a picture of us.
The girlfriend " Failed " lah, hold the iPhone there facing me for so long.
But who cares? we are enjoying delicious food under the sun, or rather thick clouds.

It was first time going to Island creamery with boh.

While sitting on the toilet bowl just now,
i recalled one very comical incident that had took place last night while driving along PIE.
Me and boh were suppose to head down to Town to meet up with Jana and the rest for her bday celebrations,
as i hardly drive down to Town using Steven's Road, i exited at the wrong exit !
I exited the expressway at Lornie road, cause i find it very familiar ( but was damn wrong )
Then i frantically searched for the directory book and asked boh to locate us.
I was starting to panic because it seems like Lornie road is quite a long stretch and i hate to be feel lost
Then suddenly boh said very convincingly, " Orh i know i know ! this road will lead us to ... "

i swear, during the first 2secs after hearding the tohpiyo shit, i really thought that theres a place with this name.

The place that most people will talk about in Taipei.
Especially during the weekends, u can see how flooded the place can get.
Even during normal weekdays, u can see school students wearing their school uniform,
from every school in taipei, coming to Ximending to just slack around.
HAHA. i wonder why we prefer to go home and change before going to town?

Ximending, a very youthful shopping district with tonnes of retail, hawker and hotels.
On our first day arriving in Taipei's Ximen, we felt rather out of place.
Most of the taiwanese were starring at us, top to toe.
We are really pissed by how they looked at us like some aliens.
Subsequently, we noticed that they dont really look at us anymore (after the 1st day)
The ximending shopping district is built like the tic-tac-toe map,
u have many directions to walk, streets after streets.

To me and boh, it was really an eye-opener.
we get to taste new food and also to learn new culture.
I love those push-cart hawkers selling snacks !!!
We also saw many illegal stalls selling all those stuff toys and Etc.
And what i really like about Taiwan is that, it has vibrant neon lights and also lighted banners.
They are so attractive and dazzling, unlike Singapore.
I believe they are also commonly found in Hongkong streets.

Environment cleaniness, aint that bad afterall, apart from some little streets.
Singapore is definitely cleaner.
I guess Ximending is more like our Bugis , somewhat brighter, wider and cleaner.
Bugis street is like so chui, the stuffs they sell there are kinda terrible.
At least in Ximending, u get to see trendy fashion apparels (Prior to ladies)
For guy's fashion, u can hardly find any brandless and cool retail shops.
Unless u are looking at labels, Shinjuku Plaza is the place you should check out.

anyway, talking about Taoyuan Airport, it is really somewhat faraway from Changi Airport's standard !
Firstly, the infrastructure is like damn rundown already.
i noticed the ceilings very dusty and yellowish, seems like they cant be bothered about their Airport hahaha.
The duty-free shops are not interesting at all.
and also those duty-free staffs will scan u up and down which we really dont like it.
Other than that , everything is okok.

On this very random day, me and boh went to Plaza Sing.
We walked into Yamaha, met Dareld and Clement ( damn coincidental )
Dareld brought me into a room that has got all those high end guitars.
The one that im holding, cost $4990.
Like a once in a lifetime thing, holding an Acoustic guitar in 4 digits lols.

Before that, both of us went for L4D.
and i think boh level up her skills already.
Both of us only got killed at the end of the final stage because its just 2 AI and the two of us.
When we kena hunter and tank together with waves, the AIs hardly can save us..
The lan shop inside Atrium @ orchard like not bad, cos walk until park lane abit lazy already.
Somemore near Dhoby ghaut station $2 per hour considered reasonable already.

I guess i will stop teaching tuition soon.
Its very hectic rushing around from place to place.
Maybe i might look for other categories of jobs with attractive pay ?
Its enriching to have gathered experiences from different jobs that i've tried.
Tuition aint that bad, but the presssure and teaching session is intense.
You have to ensure that your student is progressing and results are very important to their parents.
Sometimes, apart from teaching, i treat my students like friends.
i will advice them, listen to their problems and also gossip.
What i can do best, is to provide guidance to those growing ups.
Initially, i was very impatient, eager to see results, wanting the student to obey and strict.
But as the lessons past, i felt that sometimes, a softer approach tends to take beneficial effects,
then i start to see positive feedbacks and replies from the student.
Sometimes, the word " Thank You " from my student, can really warm my heart and twitch my lips =)
It is not easy to find a suitable environment for teaching most of the time.
Thats why, i'm put into challenge to be versatile in the midst of teaching.
Sometimes, u may meet nasty/demanding parents, noisy/very introvert kids, broken families, family under financial aid
and many other variations.
I met most of those that i have listed.
As my enlistment for NS is nearing, i hope i can enjoy a little and to spend more time with my loved ones.

Lixue's mom joined my family to attend our religious celebration meeting today.
Very happy that she could make the effort to come over.
Its the first time Lixue's mom, got to meet my Aunt and cousins.

Received a call from i-model @ 12.19am
was rather a random call at this hour and caller mentioned that my name was being referred by my friend,

Yesterday night, my mom and i bought my mom's boss dinner.
The dinner was damnnnnnnnnn nice and the price was more or less reasonable.
We decided to have our dinner at Joo Chait road's Joo heng restaurant.
That place is one of my mom's boss's favourite restaurant for its rich heritage and home cooked food format.
And im really looking forward to bring my parents/ boh's parents over there !
The bittergourd pork ribs are damn awesome, the sweet and sour pork is well done and many other dishes.

Before heading down to Joo Chiat,
i went to visit my mom's office which is the new building/office situated on top of the Newton Mrt station.
Managed to help her snap some pics and also disturbed her during her work.
Doris stays along the Kallang River area, which is just opposite the Singapore Flyer, having the Benjamin shears bridge blocking.
I hope to visit her apartment soon !!!!!
Especially during the National day because fireworks are clearly seen over there !

Yesterday, boh and i went to Escape theme park.
It was all impromptu and we were wanting to waste some time doing something interesting.
Over there, i could see that there were not much changes being made ever since 2004 lols !
The rides are still the same and the crowd were definitely lesser, how i wish they can be more interesting?
Needless to say, the go karting will be the greatest attraction to me.
Perhaps i didnt noticed it during my secondary school days, the couple go kart looks damn cool to me.
Boh had never tried any sort of driving although she will starting her practical lessons soon for the real driving.
Initially, she was quite worried about her abilities to control the go kart but as soon as she started the throttle,
it wasnt that scary anymore.

actually we intended to go there for teacup, but couldnt find any teacups ride anymore.
I am damn timid when it comes to artificial rides !!!!!
if u put me into the fighter jet, or turbocharged wrx i would really love it but those twister or roller coasters,
i just cant have interest in them. they make me fear.
perhaps too much of ' Final Destination ' hahahahahahahaa.
How nice if we could have Carousel in Escape?
Carousels are damn romantic and lovely to me.

More or less, we are counting down to our Taipei trip.
We will be leaving in around 1 month's time and we have already settled our hotels and flight.
Itinerary must be well organized so that we can minimize time loss and on expenses.
We are saving real hard by eating economic noodles/beehoon,

Reached Sembawang MRT at 650am this morning.
Supposely the shuttle bus to Sembawang camp should arrive by 7am but i came 10 mins later.
The entire Vocational assessment took 13 hours to complete.

It consists of Medical screening, Physical fitness screening, Mental fitness screening, interviews and dialogues.
A very fucked up incident took place while i was at the medical screening,
The stupid medic Kelvin Koo, was the one causing this whole commotion.
I dont know if hes a retard or loser, he had to pierce that thick needle into my both elbows for 3 times just
to extract blood from me for the blood test.
He is damn annoying because the moment he pierce the needle in, no blood came out at all.
and he kept trying and trying, complaining that my veins this and that when the blood is already flowing out
on the surface of my skin, the blood isnt entering the glass tube and i could even hear hissing sound. WTF.
For a few moments i heard him saying , " huh ? how come uh? cannot be what... so weird "
No blood extracted nevermind, worst of all? he pulled out the needles like as if they were like nothing to me.
HE fucking hell injured my veins and they were all blue-black swollen.
In the end he had to use a Syringe and poke it into my veins to withdraw the blood out.
The moment i came out from the room, i straightaway expressed my anger and agony.
There were 3 guys came over and told me the same incident.
There was one guy named Ernest said, " that medic pierce in already see no blood he continue twisting the needle".
" After twisting, he pulled out the needle and i kena a long cut and not just a DOT of needle wound ".
Same thing for me, i could see the cut isnt a circular dot but a straight cut.
Guess what?

Right after the blood test, we are required to do pull-ups.
and my elbows barely could bend which is really very annoying and i dont know why i felt giddy and could even doze off!
That stupid medic told me, " its like this one, u wait awhile okay already, sorry no more plaster for u ".
While i was sleeping on the waiting area, the guy that is taking care of us, got me a plaster " easily ".
As for the rest of the assessment, overall still not so bad.
Theres like a air pressure chamber which is kinda cool whereby u sit inside the chamber and they will pressurize the chamber
to the depth of 10M below sea level and u will have to keep on ' clearing air ' inside ur ears.
There are certain procedures to follow if not our lungs will blow or ear drums will impair too.
Definitely risks over here are higher than any other units.
One major told us that we are fortunate that we are being selected to come for the assessment because not everyone
is able to be shortlisted even if they have that 101% interest.

Well, lets just see what will be happening in the coming months.

Boh was very sweet enough to have came to Sembawang to wait for me after the entire assessment ended.

Finally, Blogger.com is back to normal.
i think the website's html got corrupted few days ago.

Over the past week, i was busy giving tuition as well as completing my final Project design in school.
Looking back, it seems like 2 sems past us quite fast.
from the dreadful days of 8am-5pm every monday/tuesday to urgent and anxiously rushing our project work.
More or less, the entire project is done and we are left only with the final external panel review,
where there will be 3 other lecturers from other division and will moderate our presentation.
Throughout this entire 2 sems of in-house project work, i got the chance to see the ugly side of teamwork and also the success of teamwork.
It is effortless to cripple or to destroy a team's success and it would take lots of commitment and effort to succeed.
I am grateful that my teammates are able to provide me with their earnest effort till the very end.

dinner at ikea last evening.
We just have the craving for the meatballs and chickenwings.
Last week we went Chinatown for Claypot rice which we had to wait for 35 mins.

While my mom was busy packing and sorting things out in her wardrobe,
she found some interesting photos of my dad and herself.
the one on the left is taken when my dad is starting to keep his long emo hair,
that time we still own a coffeeshop ! HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.
thats when i started learning how to make coffee and take orders.

oh ya, the picture next to it was taken long before i was born.
From the way they are dressed, im sure u can tell that they are racers and not just simple racers.
Definitely faster than speed racer and speedy gonzalez.

Today boh accompanied me to teach tingzhi.

So many things happened last week.
Phuc passed away, taiwan trip is nearing, project internal review's over awaiting for final panel, more and more tuition schedules coming up, outings with boh, finally altered my dior hommes, and also tried twittering. haha.

Today,

we went to vivocity.
After so many months, H1N1's severity is being defined as " common flu ".
That gave us so much assurance and relieve to continue with our overseas trip.
Oh ya, the baby over here belongs to Xiaoshuang's!
This cute lil baby is called : Ah bee.

We came over to vivocity to show our support for Tingzhi.
Miscommunication: thought that she is going to perform today at Vivo. school performance SYC.
In the end, all of us came down to watch her dance's troupe perform and hers will be on tomorrow at Ngeeann city.
Dance gracefully ah !

so during the performance, i managed to snap some pics with ah bee.
hahahahahaha. looking at the ratio of me and him, its like one kingkong V.S. one human being.
he pinched, tickled me and both me and boh love baby/kids so much !
Especially their tiny palms and feets !!!
After the performance, boh and i went over to chinatown to get our airtickets + accomadation done.
So this is Fanny, our agent for the taiwan trip.
Shes one big joker and has got great patience with us( tonnes of questions from us )
and shes also one big lover of STITCH ! hahahahahaaa.
Deposited some half of the entire fare, now we're seriously stressed about choosing which hotels.
We intend to switch hotels during our trip in taipei hahaha.
Everything have to confirmed by next week, damn cramped.

Boh's mom told me to have dinner at her place tonight.
In the end, i had to cook for them.
hahahahhaha.

Its quite impromptu, her mom told me that shes curious on how i fry rice.
Thats why both of us competed and there were 2 sets of fried rice.
Compliments came from boh's dad.
I told u already... i know how to cook fried rice la.
Last time everyday at home alone, surely pickup some culinary skills .
I guess tonight is the first time boh and her family tried my cooking.

My plan had succeeded today.
The horny fox fell for the beauty trap.
It seemed like im playing both the Angel and Devil role now.

And i seriously dont know what the hell my student is thinking.
He seemed to be quite addicted to those " i cry and cry, i shit and shit, i play and play until i die " type of writing.
i freaking hell penalized him on the spot.
he himself also kept laughing and giggling because he himself find it damn stupid too !
